What we collect

• Enquiry and quotation forms: name, organisation, job title, email, telephone, property details, service needs and any message you write.
• Careers forms: name, contact details, location, experience and the CV you upload.
• Technical data: your IP address is used in hashed form for spam prevention and rate-limiting. We use essential cookies only (a session cookie for form security). We do not use advertising cookies.

Why we use it

• To respond to your enquiry, prepare a quotation or assessment, and keep a record of our communication.
• To consider job applications.
• To protect this website from spam and misuse.

We rely on your consent (given when you tick the consent box) and our legitimate interest in running a secure website.

Who sees it

Only authorised Magnetic Security staff. We do not sell your data. We may share it with service providers who host this website or deliver email, under appropriate safeguards.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for up to 730 days. Job applications and CVs are kept for up to 365 days, after which they are deleted.

Your rights

Under the Data Protection Act, 2019 (Kenya) you may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent, by emailing info@magneticsecurity.org. You may also complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.

Security

Forms are submitted over HTTPS. Uploaded CVs are stored outside the public web folder. Access to the administration area is restricted and logged.

Changes

We may update this policy. The latest version is always on this page.
