- Aged 24 to 45 years
- Form 4 (KCSE) and above
- Valid certificate of good conduct
- Good written and spoken English and Kiswahili
- Well groomed and presentable
- Pass physical and medical fitness tests
- Pass oral and written interviews and background checks
Documents for verification
Shortlisted applicants will be asked to provide documents such as national ID, birth certificate, KCPE and KCSE certificates, school leaving certificates, certificate of good conduct, residence and chief’s introduction letter, sketch maps of home area, three referees and passport photographs. A two-week background vetting period follows.

- Shortlisted applicants are contacted by phone or email.
- Successful applicants complete vetting, then two weeks of basic guarding training and two weeks of client-specific training.
